GTS-Oil Recovery is designed for response operations where petroleum remains adhered to solid substrates and a Surface Washing Agent may be incorporated into an established containment and recovery strategy. It can be considered across shoreline, marine contact, industrial, and infrastructure settings where substrate conditions, petroleum type, access, and response objectives can vary significantly from one operation to another.

The formulation can be used on petroleum impacted rock, riprap, concrete, metal, shoreline structures, equipment, and other solid surfaces, and across contamination involving crude oil, diesel fuel, fuel oils, lubricating oils, hydraulic fluids, weathered petroleum residues, and other petroleum products where Surface Washing Agent use is appropriate.

Because spill response conditions are site specific, use of GTS-Oil Recovery should be evaluated within the operator’s or responder’s applicable response plan, site conditions, recovery equipment, product use procedures, and required authorization process. The formulation is intended to complement established containment, collection, and recovery practices rather than replace proven spill response methods.
