A surface washing agent developed to help industrial operators release, separate, and recover hydrocarbons from a wide range of substrates. It is used in operational conditions where hydrocarbons become adhered, trapped, or difficult to remove.
The product works through a lift and float action that releases hydrocarbons from steel surfaces, tank bottoms, soil, sand, pipelines, and water, allowing oil to coalesce and be recovered rather than remaining smeared, embedded, or managed as waste. By gathering hydrocarbons into a recoverable oil phase rather than dispersing them, GTS-Oil Recovery improves recovery efficiency and reduces exposed hydrocarbon surface area during operations, which can contribute to lower volatile emission potential.
GTS-Oil Recovery may be used as a standalone product or in combination with GTS-Microbes as part of recovery and bioremediation programs. Its consistent performance across different substrates has been tested, evaluated, and recognized through regulatory review, including EPA listing and Fish and Wildlife approval for spill response use. Patent No: U.S.8,491,721 B2.
