ITS Environmental did not begin with a product catalog.
It began with years spent close to industrial operations, seeing firsthand the people, the challenges, the risks, and the realities behind some of the world's most demanding industries.
For nearly two decades before creating ITS Environmental, Pilar Ortega worked alongside industrial operations and the people who keep them moving. She learned from operators, technicians, contractors, and industry leaders, gaining a practical understanding of what happens in the field when performance, safety, environmental responsibility, and production demands all meet at the same time.
Over the years, those experiences became something more than professional knowledge. They became a reason to ask a different question:
Could industrial chemistry do the job without creating another problem?
That question became the foundation of ITS Environmental.

ITS Environmental grew through years of persistence, development, testing, field experience, setbacks, and the belief that the technology was worth continuing to build.
What began with Pilar's experience and vision became a family effort.
Together, we have worked to protect what was created, refine how the company communicates its technology, expand the possibilities for the GTS portfolio, and prepare ITS Environmental for its next stage of growth.
Like many family businesses, the journey has not been a straight line.
There have been years of development that few people ever saw, technologies that required patience before the market was ready for them, and countless decisions made not simply around business opportunity, but around what we believed the company should stand for.
Through all of it, one idea remained constant:
